On 23th September 2008, the Republic of Vanuatu appointed CLS to manage their LRIT infrastructure: a Data Center (DC) and the associated ASP services.

The Vanuatu Data Center will be hosted at CLS and the Vanuatu LRIT users will have a web-based access to their data, according to the IMO regulation. The Vanuatu LRIT DC is fully compliant with the IMO requirements and will start in 2009. Thanks to this system, the Republic of Vanuatu and the Vanuatu Flag ships will ensure their full compliance with the international SOLAS Regulation on LRIT.
